Katepal Ambient Roofing Shingles

Katepal Ambient is a premium roofing shingle designed to recreate the attractive appearance of traditional wooden roof tiles while offering the durability and performance of modern roofing materials. Each shingle features a coloured mineral-granule surface that provides a rich, textured finish, while the underside is coated with sand and incorporates a self-adhesive layer protected by a removable plastic film for quick and reliable installation.

Premium SBS-Modified Bitumen Technology

Manufactured from high-quality SBS (Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene) elastomer-modified bitumen, Katepal Ambient shingles offer professional-grade performance previously reserved for specialist roofing contractors. SBS-modified bitumen provides significantly greater flexibility, durability, and weather resistance than conventional roofing shingle materials.

The advanced construction allows the shingles to remain flexible even in low temperatures, while offering excellent tear resistance and long-term protection against harsh weather conditions. 

Simple Installation

Katepal Ambient shingles feature a self-adhesive backing for fast and easy installation. Simply prepare a clean, dry roof surface, remove the protective backing, and press each shingle firmly into position. The shingles are suitable for roof pitches between 12° and 90° and are fully compatible with the Katepal underlay system.

Matching eaves and ridge sheets are available in every colour to provide a coordinated, professional finish. Each 1-metre sheet can be installed as a continuous starter strip along the eaves or separated into three sections for ridge installation, ensuring a neat and seamless appearance.
